Dr. Rawaha Memon
I moved around a lot as a child, but I’ve lived most of my life in California. Ever since I was a child, I knew I wanted to become a doctor to help people. I chose to specialize in pediatric dentistry because I still consider myself a big kid. I still like cartoons and video games, so I feel that it’s really easy for me to talk to children. I also chose pediatric dentistry because it is the specialty that helps special needs children, and I feel that it is my duty to help all children in need. I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Southern California. I did my residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, where I earned a Certificate in Advanced Pediatric Dentistry and a master’s degree. In residency, I researched the differentiation of dental pulp stem cells into neurons for the study of neurogenetic disorders. My research was published in the scientific journal Stem Cell Research. I could not have done any of this without the support of my wife, who is my best friend. I look forward to meeting your family and providing the best possible care for your children.
